A patriotic Pie Supper was planned for October 7 1916, with
proceeds to go to the benefit of the Convalescent Home in Montreal for wounded soldiers.
The supper was held at the home of Mrs. James Standish and a profit of $23.00 was
realized.

On July 23rd 1920, a meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Chaplin where it was decided to
change the name of the Society to the " Ladies Guild". |
